This oil painting is my heartfelt depiction of the peaceful winter time. In the center of the screen, a house stands quietly on the snow, with its roof covered in pure white snow, as if draped in a thick woolen blanket. The big tree next to the house also couldn't escape the invasion of winter, with snowflakes hanging on its branches, appearing heavy.

Between the house and the big tree, a small path winds and stretches, and the snow on the road is firmly stepped on, leaving a series of footprints of varying depths. At the end of the path, two characters were walking slowly, their figures stretched out in the afterglow of the sunset, blending seamlessly with the surrounding snow scenery, creating a harmonious scene.

Light and shadow play a crucial role in this painting. The warm rays of the sunset fill the entire scene, bringing a hint of warmth to the cold winter. The light reflects off the snow, forming golden spots that create a sharp contrast with the faint blue sky in the distance, making the entire picture more vivid and three-dimensional.
